Hazel Buddy's
A candle shop that need a their first website
Hazel Buddy’s is a candle shop in Middletown, NY that runs candle-making events for large groups. It’s a unique experience. I was excited to build my first add-on for creating events, making reservations, and taking payments online. It was a simple one-page website, but it pushed my knowledge of Statamic.
Jewish Family Service of Orange County
Using Statamic to empower a great Non-Profit
Jewish Family Service of Orange County, NY (JFS). Their previous website was 12 years old and lacked the ability to be updated easily. They were using a WordPress website, which inundated them with too many options. For the layperson, it was too much to handle, which left them unable to update the website on their own. Counter-intuitive to the idea of a Content Management System (CMS).
Larimar Counseling & Consulting
A psychologist who with a unique vision.
Larimar was a simple two-page website; however, both the design phase and security took some time to work through. A bot kept trying to submit the form. Overall, it was a fun and interesting project, both technically and design-wise.
Red Banner Media
My Web Agency's Website advertising my services
This wasn't just an opportunity to advertise my website services, but to speak to a community. I first built the website using Laravel, only later adding Statamic as a secondary option. I also took this opportunity to work with HTMX. In many ways, this is my playground.
